URI for launching nplayer

  • What's the new URI for launching nplayer from other apps? I use Launcher on iOS and would like to start nplayer this way.

    Thanks

  • Just a quick follow-up. The Launcher app uses this URI, but it doesn't trigger nplayer:

    db-vzoakoxonupmtoj://

    Thanks

    nplayer-http://
    nplayer-https://
    nplayer-ftp://
    nplayer-smb://
    nplayer-sftp://

  • Thanks for the quick response, that launches the app but it also opens the media playback UI. Since I'm not passing anything in the URL (only calling nplayer-http://) after the playback UI loads a modal dialog pops up saying "Invalid media type". The other URLs act similarly, but with variations on the modal dialog message.

Is it possible to just launch nplayer with one of those URLs without loading the playback UI? Is there a parameter I can add to the URL path to suppress the playback UI? Are there any other workaround I'm missing? Again, I just want to launch the app or bring it to the foreground.

    Thanks again.

In version 3.0 not available. Maybe next update ;)

  • No worries, it functions well enough for the short term.

    Thanks
